In this episode i had the pleasure of chatting to Darren about his experience working with the highest level CrossFit athletes as well as how his common sense approach to training and Nutrition has helped improve a huge number of peoples lives .

Darren discovered CrossFit in 2007 and after initially being a bit uncertain about it as a training methodology became the first CrossFit affiliate in New Zealand soon after and has been a strong presence on the global CrossFit scene ever since both as an athlete and a well respected Coach.
Darren also collaborates with Jami Tikkanen (coach of Annie Thorisdottir) on The Training Plan, creating online CrossFit programming and lifestyle hacks for athletes as their Masters Coach and Nutrition Specialist.

He is first and foremost though a Family man and his love and dedication for them has been steadfast throughout some challenging times including his young daughter's battle with leukemia in2016.
